Ok so around last week i bustoed my BR moving up too quickly and failing to move down, this was only 5nl,10nl and 25nl.

But I took a step back and just laughed at myself, I had done this too many times. I had to follow BR management. There is no other option.

So i recieved $20 from the take 2 promotion and $30 RB and just started grinding $1 sngs until i had 30BI for the next level.

I am currently sitting on $156 and will continue grinding until i reach $400-500. At this point I will lower myself into cash games again.

Ok so i saw the SNG Madness promotion today and decided to give sngs a go.

I played the 9man and 6max $2 sngs in a set of 10, 5 each.

on the first 4 sets i had turned a profit of:

$15

$24.

Not bad for someone who hasn’t played sngs properly for a long time. Still it’s a shame i could’nt actually get onto the leaderboard, there are too many sng beasts that i just can’t catch up to =p

Lets hope the success continues.

Ok so i moved around $50 over to FTP to start fresh and hopefully get out of the extreme low limits. So far so good, In about a week and a half i have turn the $50 into $100. I haven’t really put in much volume at all but so far i like ftp. Also i just saw the truly free poker training on cardrunners so i obviously insta signed up to that. A lot of people say rake is a bitch at FTP micros and they would be true but doesn’t taht just mean more rakeback lol.

Can’t wait to reach $200 and 10nl =p

Please please please, anyone who plays at FTP help me out, I will send you 100 on Cake and you send 90 on FTP. Im desperate lol.

I need a change in my poker playing, I have no urge to play cash anymore so I feel it’s time to whip out the sng wizard within me. To do this I am going to have to move most of my Cake roll onto PS because it owns so much for sngs.

If anyone is willing to do a $95 trade from Cake to PS then please leave a comment here.

I have been playing poker for around 3 years now but I took a 1 year break until returning in November, hence how I found Pokertrikz.

NLHE was always the game I played and I just couldn’t work out if I could earn more playing SnGs or Cash games. Hard life.

Ran a $5 to $500, you know the standard beginners luck story. Then unfortunately I lost all urge to play and just burned away the money, funny thing was I wasn’t on tilt. If I hadn’t done this i may have been in a better position as I type this but we can’t dwell on the past.

In November i recovered $10 I had left on PS and made it to around $40 or so. Shipped $20 to Cake and i have been here ever since. I lost the urge to play poker again in the last month and played barely any hands in Feb. At the moment, I’m almost looking for a way for poker to become fresh and new to me. If anyone has any ideas can you please leave a comment, cheers.

I’d like to start my first blog entry by saying how slick this new site looks, it was definately worth the long, gruelling wait. However like all new things, it has its minor flaws, for example when I click to view someones blog the screen is flooded with boxes with red x’s in them. Also some blogs say “Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.”.

Anyway moving on, in my blog I will probably be posting random bolts of information that you do not care about but you like to read anyway. So that includes results, thoughts, moans, groans and most importantly what I could have done better lol.

I will post my poker history next but I’m itching to go explore the rest of this site.
