Played 4 tables on UB and then did the same on stars. Played good on ub ended up a buyin. Played poorly on Stars and ended down a buyin. I am glad that I quit playing stars when I did was having a tough time not really getting cards and pushing the actiion more than I problably should have. The hand that I played poorly went like this I had 88 on the button opp in the cutoff bet I raised him and he shoved with his stats on PT3 showing 43/33, he showed JJ and I was toast, 88 was not enough need to tighten that allin calling range way up even against that loose player-ha ha

My bankroll is steady growing for the most part and I feel confident to consistently beat 10nl with a tried and true method.

Did some very early Chirstmas shopping for the wife and kids today and have to say not alot of folks at the stores here in Va.

I am considering teaching 10nl (50$ per hour) so if your interested please let me know. IT’s a TAG method , grinding and knowing the vpip I’m playing will pay off in the long run. I think most players at 10nl are trying to do to much (ex. play too many hands in bad position, not really knowing it) and they need solid fundamentals to follow with pretty strict guidelines.

Well I took a beating after the last time I blogged and lost about 8 stacks to all kinds of situations. I had some time off after going to the hospital for some chemo and today I’m playing again with very good results.

Jumped on UB after they gave me 25.00 for filling out a survey and was up about a buyin and a half, jumped off and went to stars. Within 5 hands I get AA allin vs AQ and A7s and I tripled up for the most part-poker is fun!

Todays session on stars was 300 hands  54 bb\100. Session stats 20/14 AF 2.0. Up about 3 buyins on stars and a buyin and a half on UB for real good day.

No real bad hands to speak of, no tilt, played well and it shows.

18/12 AF 2.1 session stats 73 BB/100

Off to slow start in 1st session when opponent limped with KK, I raised with JJ oop and he floped a set and I did too -both of us turned into fullhouses he check called my bets all the way  until we had it allin-oh well. The 2nd session opp got it allin with Ah8h on a flush draw and I had a set of 7s that later turned into quads -ohh how its nice to run goot. Only played a few hundred hands today and just ran sensational as noted above with 73bb/100. AF is lookin good for the session and position stats looked good as well.

Had AJ vs AT opp who was short stacked and OOP  reraised me allin on flop with 2 pair and I called TP. I think it was the right call but it makes me wonder.

Solid play both sessions, could feel tilt starting to set in after getting beat by a bigger fullhouse but as the game went on it faded and I kept on a roll. No major bluffs and no tilted play for today, over 1400 hands played since blog started and so far no tilt which I’m happy with. Starting to play a minimum of 4 tables over the last few days and its working out well.

Good to review hands, write about them, make sure stats are on track with goals and tilt bad play is handled quickly. hope to keep this up. later

session stats for the day 17/13 AF 2.02   27BB/100 over 748 hands (multitable 4 tables).  Very good day on a bit of an upswing with winning 4 buyins. Had an awesome hand with 22 which I will post below, one of my favs in a long time, just called shorties allin and when big stack hit his flush on the river I got him allin – booyah.

Don’t be afraid to pack up and move to another table if getting beat, I actually have trouble with high vpip players above 50, no telling what they have sometimes. One bad bluff on a river made that cost me about 21 bb, the board showed a 4 card straight to the 6 and i thought he was bluffing and raised him. The big bet he made should have been the giveaway that he had a decent  hand.

no real tilt playing good, best part is I’m stopping and taking breaks when the game appears to be getting under my skin. Looking forward to more cards.

Back to multitabling, playing 4 tables at a time in 2nd session and it went well. Small session 300 hands 11 bb/100. Being agg with AJ on jack high board and opp was check calling with KK and won a pot for 2.50 which I don’t think is too bad for a non draw rainbow board. Played KQs suited in the SB which I believe is a mistake even though UTG limped and called, had a draw show up on the turn but i blanked the river and he won with AT. 17/13 1.9 AF 2nd session  nice to see AF going back up. later

Played a few Sessions today 21/12 AF 1.3 (need to bring this back up)  24BB/100. Overall stats 18/10 AF 1.8

Overall positive day of play came out ahead near the end of the 2nd session when a player called my allin on the river with  TPTK and I had a straight, I bet 2/3 his stack size on the river and he did the rest by going allin after tanking for quite a while.

I ran into a player that totally caught me off guard 1st session opponent had a set of Kings and I had a pair of 9s, lost a good chunk of my stack to him early in the session. That was poor play on my part wish I had not got involved with so much of my stack late in the hand. Stopped play at point and took a break to get away and relax.

I’m losing money in the BB  so I need to pay more attention to the hands being played there. Overall doesn’t appear I’m doing anything wrong quite a few hands were pocket pairs and its mostly expected to lose from the bb anyway.

No position mistakes, used Brystmars 6 max chart for reference. Tilted opp I watched lose most of his stack to a suckout earlier, shoved allin on me with AJ and lost as my KK held up. Stars really does have alot of players on it saw almost 250k on it last night, agg tables are plentiful.

No poker tonight my boy is on the last game of the JV season they are undefeated and it looks like that streat will continue as the team they are playing is 1-8. Playoffs start Saturday Go Bulldogs.

Hand of interest today hero AQ, several opponents limp and I bet .70 on button, 1 opp reraises me (after limping ) to 2.40. At this point I don’t believe he has AK, KK, QQ, JJ and I put him allin. He shows AJ and gives me his stack. Nice

No tiltmonster or bad bluffs today just solid poker. Turned off the HUD and just playing the opponents, this may be a problem down the road when I start to multitable again, just feel the HUD is misleading me and I’m not giving the vpip 60 plus bunch any credit and it costs me. If they play that lag right and hit a decent hand they seem to always get my stack because I  am calling them much lighter than I would a tag. Reminding myself to have no mistakes during the game, it only takes 1 stupid mistake to blow a stack and then forever to build back up.

Gonna lay low on 3bet bluffs and stealing blinds for the time being. I’ve been pretty much letting the blind stealers take my money.
