Back in the game / new site

Hi,

I had to take off for a while with playing poker. However, I started again on another site. New site, new luck! ;-)

However, I’m playing now 25NL and the first 1000 Hands were quiet nice. I post some graphs below. I put two of this hands into the forum for discussion.

Screenshot 1) Winnings

Screenshot 2) My current odds of flopping a set…pretty funny! There is some “potential”…

50min session, 4 tables

Hey guys,

quick review of the session from today’s morning.

Hand 1:

nice 3way pot, couldn’t be better – except for the setminer on my rigth…. :-(

Hand 2

same thing, here. Isaw villains aggression on that dry board. But hey, I can’t b/f this flop against a minraise. Either he has a set (30%), KJ+ (60%), QQ+ (10%). Folding seems weak on flop. I might could have folded turn, but still. I think getting it in is still +EV.

(I’m playing underrolled, I know. But I think I can beat this limit. And it’s only 10NL. When I should crush, I deposit 200 USD. I don’t think that this is a shame.)

Break even session

Hy guys,

I played now for 90min 4 tables on cake, 10NL.

At the end it became a break-even session – which is fine rigth now. I’m happy I didn’t loose.

I think I’m about to get back on track…but there are still crazy things happening… ;-)

For example, I was playing a smallstake twice. Same guy.

First time, I got KK, he got J2. he got it in straight away on a T92 flop. I called, he rivered the J.

A couple of rounds later, he was about 50BB deep. My QQ against his 88s. Flop brings an 8.

I know that this is standart. But when you already are in a downswing, those things seem to happen more frequently.

However, right now, too many things like that keep me away from winning. At least, I play break even.

Reason for this blog and goals

Hi,

a few facts about me:

I play poker since 3 years. Started online about 2 years ago. At the beginning, I didn’t really educate myself. Didn’t really understand the depth of this game.

I went broke 6 months ago. Until then, I’ve played about 100K hands. Cash and Tourney. NLHE. from 10NL through 100NL. From 1 to 14 tables. There was a time I actually played 14 tables of 50NL on fulltilt. I didn’t beat the game, I was a fish and a station.

I didn’t really play the last 6 months. I got some books about poker and came back to this forum. I’m a gambler-type. I love challenges and the competition. That’s the reason I’m back here.

Right now, I started playing on cake 10NL again. I didn’t have to deposit…I found out, that after I went, the rake was still pending. So I could start on 60 USD.

After 10K hands on 10NL. I was on 320 USD. Nice winrate, I know. But the swings catched my.

To make it short, rigth now, I’m back on 150 USD.

My goal is to move through the limits. In this Blog, I want to keep you guys up to date about the progress.

That’s it for now. I’m having 4 tables up now, and start grinding ;-)

Thank you for reading my blog.

Starting a micro blog

Hey guys,

I plan to set up a blog about my way through the limits.

First, I need to get comfortable with that blog-editing…
